Frequently asked questions about moving house
How much advance notice is needed to book a move?
If you are moving at the end of the month, it is good to have 1-2 months’ notice. If the move date is more towards the middle of the month, 2-3 weeks’ notice is usually sufficient.
How long does a move take?
A normal move takes about 3-8 hours to complete.
Is it best to have a fixed price or a variable price?
It can be reassuring to know what the total cost will be. With a fixed price, you know in advance what you will have to pay. You pay for the service provided, regardless of how long the assignment takes.
In the case of continuous charging, you pay for the time spent (charged per half hour or so). Continuous billing may be preferable if you are not sure how much you will move. You may need to clear out a larger section or you may need to move a lot yourself. In this case, it is usually an advantage to choose to pay by the hour.
Are you more expensive at weekends?
Yes, as we have collective agreements for our employees through Almega.
What are your insurance policies?
We are insured with Trygg Hansa and Svedea, where we have our transport insurance and bohags insurance.
Do I apply for the RUT deduction or do you?
We apply for Rut for you, so there is nothing for you to worry about. You will receive a confirmation from the Swedish Tax Agency either electronically (if you are connected to a digital mailbox such as Kivra) or by post shortly after we have applied for the Rut deduction.

Do you also transport plants?
Yes, we do, but during the winter season we cannot take responsibility if they are damaged by freezing. My advice during the winter season is to move them yourself in an already heated car and load them quickly, making sure that the leaves are not against the windows to prevent freezing damage.
