We handle the RUT deduction!

Important about the RUT deduction

Our quotes describe the final cost after the RUT deduction. We then handle the administration of the RUT deduction directly with the Swedish Tax Agency. After the job is completed, we invoice the final cost in accordance with our quote offer.

In the invoice, the labor cost, which is eligible for the RUT deduction, is specified. Other non-RUT eligible costs such as delivery and vehicle costs are also specified. The total cost (sum of the above items) after the RUT deduction corresponds to the quoted cost in our quote offer.

Good to know about the RUT deduction

Moving and cleaning are included in the category of household services. If you meet the conditions, you are entitled to a 50% tax reduction on the labor cost (RUT deduction). Your personal maximum limit for the RUT deduction depends, among other things, on your taxable income for the year. We recommend that you check your personal eligibility for the RUT deduction if you are unsure. This can be done via the Swedish Tax Agency’s website.

Note! As the customer, you become responsible for payment of any amount not approved if the Swedish Tax Agency’s denial is due to circumstances attributable to you as the customer.

How We Work with Packing

  • Jordgubbsprinsen’s staff packs all loose items in boxes, and each box is labeled with the room name (kitchen, bathroom, living room, bedroom, etc.). Boxes containing fragile items are marked with “Akta”.
  • When ordering packing for the kitchen, this includes packing of kitchen utensils, excluding items for the refrigerator and freezer (these need to be packed and handled by you). Jordgubbsprinsen does not take responsibility for the freshness of food items during the move.
  • When ordering complete packing, this includes packing of your entire household according to your booking confirmation.
  • The packing includes packing materials used by our staff. This encompasses paper, bubble wrap, labels, and marking pens. Moving boxes are provided on loan by Jordgubbsprinsen (The loan of boxes applies to moves within the region. For longer moves, the purchase of boxes is offered).
  • When Jordgubbsprinsen’s packing staff arrives, the residence should be acceptably clean. Dishes/glasses should be washed and dried. Any trash should be removed. Appliances like deep fryers should be emptied and cleaned.
  • Fixed items that need to be packed in boxes should be detached by the customer prior to packing.
  • After the move is completed and your household is unpacked, Jordgubbsprinsen collects and accounts for all loaned moving boxes. This is done 4 weeks after the move has been completed.
  • The collection of packaging materials after unpacking is available as an additional service.
  • Jordgubbsprinsen also offers unpacking services after the move has been completed. We unpack according to the customer’s instructions. It’s possible to order unpacking of just the kitchen or the entire household.

Conditions

  • Our quote offer is valid for five days. As many customers request our services, we cannot guarantee that there will be an available slot after the expiration of the quote offer.
  • Upon booking, we may perform a simple credit check via Creditsafe. The check is not saved and is not visible in any record. The credit check has no impact on your credit rating.
  • Residential moving is performed in accordance with the responsibility regulations ”bohag2010”.
  • Free rescheduling/cancellation up to 48 hours before the start time. Within 48 hours, a charge of 1800 SEK incl. VAT per employee scheduled for the particular assignment will be applied.
  • Costs are invoiced after the service is completed. 14 days payment term.
  • Jordgubbsprinsen AB holds a goods transport license, VAT registration, and Carrier Liability Insurance with Trygghansa.
  • Loaned moving boxes must be folded upon return/pick-up.
